Thread Drift - A proposal to help the mods!

When people post in a thread, it can be impossible to anticipate on occasion which direction it will go.

 

Things in the "Annoying" thread end up with solutions being discussed for example.

 

If this happens, or you are one of of those with a solution to the problem, please could you report the post where it all starts and I'll happily split it into its own thread. (The python security thread is a good example of this being done)

 

It makes life easier for everyone.
