I thought it had died a death?

It never really got off the ground properly when they started it, even their five year plan to put together an epic northern exhibition seemed to peter out after year two.

We did the first couple of shows and @Dos_Box @ZeroHour & @Domino joined us the second time around, but I think the time spent in the pub/bem brasil afterwards was far better! ;)

Don't believe this man's lies! We were all hard at work the whole time...

...the pub did have Old Rosie though, that was good.

C'mon, we spent the afternoon playing football in there it was that dead!

Despite taking the mick out of 'Sportsball' as you put it, you've never looked happier (until you got the old Rosie...)

AFAIK, Education Innovation is dead and buried. They tried (last year?) to move it to October after March proved to be a disappointment.

I seem to recall talking to one of the organisers during one of the feedback sessions.

From an exhibitors point of view there simply wasn't enough foot fall on the stands really. Whilst plenty of bodies were coming into the show, they were mainly carted off into side rooms for things like the Rasberry Pi Jamboree and iPad events never to be seen again.

The other issue was that it was held originally only a few weeks after BETT and simply couldn't get more people to register given that they had just been to London for a week the month before!

Still, Manchester is a nice night out and even better when you don't have to catch multiple DLR's to get to the show each morning :)
