OllyM Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Hi all If you get an email in to your Junk folder in Outlook, and you mark it as Not Junk and have it moved to your inbox, does that also tell Office 365 (where that's your email service) that that email isn't Junk, or do you still need to add that senders email address to your Allowed list in Office 365? Olly
Steve21 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 In terms of your mailbox it says it's not junk, and reports it back to them. In terms of organization wide it doesn't. Steve
OllyM Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 User-level is all I'm really interested in. Thanks steve.
Steve21 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 What I mean though is like it won't stop your organization filter blocking it as spam still, it'll only stop it going into your mailbox as junk if that makes sense :s So if you set it higher up to delete spam it'll still delete it etc Steve
OllyM Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 But it *does* tell Office 365, at the mailbox level, to whitelist that email? So that if the user stopped using Outlook and went to OWA, they won't see those same emails going to Junk? Olly
