GPO to run a script by Security group

Is it possible to run a script at login only if a user is part of a security group?

 

Is there an item level targeting for a script that I could add under the GPO used at login?

 

The users that I need to apply this to are not under a set OU and so need this to work under members of a security group.

Well, you can't do item level targetting for that... but you can create a GPO which applies to a Security Group with the login script you wish, which will do the same thing.
