Dear all,

A funky Thursday issue for you:

We have a high multitude (not all) of projector screens going pink since the installation new workstations.

The units are plugged in with USB powered VGA startech splitters.

The PC screen is fine and not affected, only the projected image.

Plugging the projector directly in the PC does not resolve the issue.

Changing resolutions doesn't do anything.

Different projector models affected.

New looms or projectors seem to resolve the issue.

Out of 20 classrooms replaced, we have had 6 rooms affected. Has anyone ever seen anything like this!?

Bobby,

Just to confirm, even when using a short VGA cable plugged directly from the PC into 'VGA In' or 'Computer' on the projector, you're still getting a pink tinge?

Stating the obvious, you have done a factory reset on the projector, just in case some kid thought it would be funny to change the RGB settings.

I have come across as similar issue before where the projector image had a red/pink tinge. If they are old projectors it maybe heat damage to the LCD. Changing the bulb made no difference.
