Outlook - autocomplete lists

I was wondering what those of you that run outlook on your machines do in terms of the autocomplete lists, you know, the one when you start typing in the TO field it shows you the last few people youve emailed with that letter.

 

We have some staff who think it's their address book so moving from outlook 2010 to outlook 2016, they think they should have them all. Also i found out that there is a limit on how many entries you can have, it turns out its 1000 but this can be upped by a simple reg hack.

 

So back to the question, obviously these autocomplete lists dont live on the roaming profile so are never copied back to the profile store, they live in the local profile.

 

What do you do about them and what do you say to staff who demand them back when you've re-imaged their machine.

Download everyone's emails in a autocomplete list at logon? I'm not sure.
