LeMarchand Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Just got a load of the above from @VeryPC and they seem rather nice. As I've yet to start on Win 10 I just booted one and backed up the (Win 10) drivers and used our Win 8.1 image. Unfortunately some drivers are proving elusive. Managed to get the wireless working, but there are a load of Intel Serial IO devices that showed an exclamation mark when using the W10 drivers as part of the build, so uninstalled them and their drivers. Now they're "unknown" and nothing on the HP site seems to fix this. I've spent the day messing around with various other HP drivers but to no avail. Annoyingly, the machines seem fine but these drivers may well control the touchscreen as that's not responding to touch. This model originally came with 8.1, so it should work. Anyone got any bright ideas (or one on 8.1 that they could share the drivers for)?
ModeratelyGruntled Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Hi Are you still having issues with this? There's a strong possibility we may acquire some of these in the very near future and they want a quick turnaround on kit. Planning on putting Win 10 edu on them. I've got other HP kit that took some faffing in WDS to build properly but I got it working in the end, just a question of getting the right drivers. Cheers!

Gave up on getting the touchscreen working with W8.1 so they're currently "netbooks" rather than convertibles. Not had any complaints that are hardware related. My W10 image is nearing completion on t'other screen but as it will be the first time I've tried to capture/deploy W10 I'm expecting teething problems.
