JohnRMoore Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Hi, if tutors are to award housepoints each week based housepoint stamps collected on the students paper organiser, what's the quickest way. Imagine a list of names and with how many housepoints that need entering for each e.g. Sally 1 Billy 4 William 2 how can they do this quickly? My only thought at the moment is to use the quicklist on the register and have a 1,2,3,4 and 5, so if they need to enter 7 they quickly add a 5 and a 2. Anything better? Thanks 1
Grey-gear Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 For a quick cheap solution a spread sheet with all the students names on that get edited by the teacher. Another way you could look into is Mystickers, we use that in the school I work at and the students get stickers that has a code on and then they go online, put in the code and it adds it to there tally and then the students can win stuff. Here's the link to the website if you want to read more into it: - https://www.mystickers.co.uk/ Hope this helps Not sure how much it costs but works fine here. 1
JohnRMoore Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 Thanks Grey-gear, sound good. We report in SIMS though, and this includes conduct points, which includes house points, so I need a way to get the housepoints (eg from a spreadsheet) into SIMs
PhilNeal Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 It's really fast to enter house points directly into SIMS from the register. Multiple select pupils and click behaviour. 1
JohnRMoore Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 Ah, yes, achievement for us, rather than behaviour, but just realised you can zip down entering the numbers. Nice one!
