AliG Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 We have some Toshiba R50 laptops and since we have added SSD and upgraded to Windows 10 we are having some problems with resuming from sleep in that the laptop doesn't respond just 2 LEDs on the front and the laptop has to be powered off and on again. Any one else seen this and found a solution? Toshiba advised us it will be a driver issue of some sorts.
ITJS2015 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Turn off sleep mode on power and on battery, I have had this problem with a number of Toshibas and I have not had anyone come and told me the solution so iv turned it off. It also created problems even if it does awake with disconnected mapped drives, loss of internet and disconnection to touch screen tvs. Since if done this I have had very little complaints
robyholmes Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 We're experiencing this as well. Did anyone find a solution to it?
AliG Posted May 23, 2019 Author Posted May 23, 2019 We found disabling the Intel IMIE or Intel Management Engine Interface driver via device manager did the trick with no obvious side effects. 1

robyholmes Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 That might just have done it. Still early days to be sure but couldn't get it to fail for me after disabling Intel Management Engine Interface in Device Manager.
tmoon-mint Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I found that disabling fast startup in the power options resolved this issue for us without having to disable any drivers.
