Had the two services integrated last week but when parents are processing payment online it's not showing against the student in impact.

I'm sure there is meant to be a service that calls it or something but despite my best efforts to get support from cunninghams we had pupils today who had no money on their account all day! Schoolcomms confirmed everything is ok on their end.

Any suggestions?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

We use wisepay and impact at our school. I believe there is a job on groupcall exporter that runs that syncs impact with wisepay.

@Liam we had a bit of issues when we had Schoolcomms and Impact to behave in Jan when we started using it, but it was purely down to the cunninghams software not matching up the user id from schoolcomms correctly, so although funds were correctly paid, it was not coming down.

It took us about 3 days to get the engineer to resolve the issue but *touch wood* it's been fine since.

Our issue now is that it's not updating balances when lunch has been bought. Parents are rightly asking what's the point in having this I'f they can't see their balance.

I have raised it with cunninghams so hopefully they will get around to resolving this asap

We have an issue where only some students are syncing from our mis to impact. Had call open about 2 weeks and only spoke to one person. When I ring them they say their busy and will ring us when they get to it. Apparently they've had 2k calls since September and only have 8 engineers. Very frustrating as this seems to happen each year.

We've recently started with WisePay and I am not impressed. We switched late in the day as we were making the decision at the time when there was a lot of bad publicity around ParentPay. When a parent tops up on WisePay the balance is not correct until there is a sync with Cunninghams. I cannot believe that, in this day and age, that Wisepay cannot show a correct balance.

The account linkages are dreadful. It would really help if, when there are siblings, that the main account was clearly identifiable. Ideally, Wisepay would prefer that you email only one parent. When both parents are together you mostly see Mum's details the Dad's. If Dad sets up the account it defaults to Mum's email address. No wonder parents get confused. If I am missing something please please let me know

It is at least pulling down the balance to the local system? We had the same issue it sounds like at the start, and they had to update the SQL commands so that the misid was correct for Schoolcomms. Once the engineers got the format right, it started reporting back the balance/transactions

I agree schools should keep away from this system! Site is very confusing - Needs to be a simple Deposit and as you use it money goes down - Never come across such a rubbish site.
