Just had a batch of Clevertouch V series screens installed.

A couple of niggles I wondered if anyone else had experienced.

If I plug in an AV source such as a PC its automatically recognised and displays.

If I then switch to the built in Android system and switch back to the AV source I get a "No Signal" warning displayed.

Unplugging and reconnecting the AV source causes the screen to recognise the signal again and all is OK.

Also can't get Youtube videos to work in the built-in Android browser. Youtube works fine in Windows and IOS (iPad) but doesn't seem to like Android devices.

Any help appreciated.

Hi ReBoot,

I can confirm switching between channels should work without having to unplug and plug back in the source, I have successfully tested this using VGA and then tested again using HDMI on a HP ProBook. Just to check, have you tried this on other make and model of PC/Mac sources?

Re: YouTube - The only currently known way to play YouTube videos on the V series built-in Android is by going into the settings of the Browser-->Advanced-->Set User Agent-->andorid 2.3 useragent.

Hi

Thanks for the response.

We mainly have HP Probook 450 G3s and they all experience the "No Signal" warning when switching back from Android to an AV source.

They detect automatically when first connected but the signal is then lost if Android is used and the user switches back.

I'll have a go at switching the user agent - I did notice that by default this is set to iPad which didn't seem right.

Our supplier is doing some training next week so I'll see if they can shed any light on the AV switching problem.

Thanks for the help.

I am running a HP Probook 650 G2 that is successfully switching back and forth between the channels.

This may be a compatibility issue with a particular version of firmware, would it be possible you to let me know the Version Info and Build number from one of your CT V's please? This information can be found via Apps-->Settings-->About device.

If it is a firmware related issue I would recommend this to be raised as a support request, which can be placed here : - New Support Case | CleverSupport

Thanks
