Can anyone point me in the correct location on where and how to configure RUCKUS so that users who are using anything non Win7 can connect via RADIUS.

At the moment our setup is set so that users autheticate via RUCKUS via AD and then by smoothwall RADIUS accounting. The only downside to this is that users have to login every day but with doing it via RADIUS auth, they will be able to login once and reconnect every 3 months, for example.

Ive tried to get it working on my S6 and it askes for:

Method: PEAP / TLS / TTLS

Phase 2: None / PAP/ MSCHAP/ MSCHAPv2 / GTC

CA Cert: *do i need one of these??*

User Cert

Identity

Anon Identity

Password

Thanks

Many thanks

I can see the user trying to authenticate from within the Ruckus logs but the connection soon disconnects. Im not sure if the details are being passed to smoothwall. The trouble is there's hardly anything to configure on smoothwall for the radius settings. I know ive got it all working as the radius accounting is working at the moment.

I vaguely remember an issue with the scared secret having issues with special characters try testing it without.

Tried changing the shared secret but that's had no affect.

I had the same problem yesterday but with Aruba providing accounting rather than Ruckus. I did have it working in the past but on an older Smoothwall release so wondering if that has anything to do with it. What are you running on your S6?
