HP Procurve J8697a can not copy Flash

Hi

 

HP Procurve J8697a can not copy Flash as copy command does not work as standard username and we did not setup manager or admin password for it and can not access switch via web browser help please

Assuming that's a 5400zl, you should have a "clear" button on it. Pressing that for a second or two will clear any console passwords set, then you can connect to switch via serial console/ssh/telnet (and maybe via browser, can't remember) and change the password(s).

 

Don't fiddle with the "reset" button at the same time you're pressing "clear" or you may inadvertantly wipe the switch config.
