office 2016kms server (on win 10 box thats also windows kms server)

im trying to add my office 2016 license to it it bombs out as i the picture below. Any ideas i presume if i knew the slmgr command i could do it via command line but so far im drawing a blank

activated the kms server with vamt (on another server) and it now works odd but as long as it works im happy

Glad you got it fixed.

 

It is possible to both install and activate a key from command line or certainly was in 2008 r2 server, MS in their wisdom have prob changed it now.

We are still runnning KMS on 2008 r2 here so can't verify if it works on newer versions.

Slmgr /ipk will install key /ato will activate and /dlv will display info

Also "slmgr /dlv all" displays all installed keys. If you have trouble reading the popup window press Ctrl+C to copy all contents to clipboard.
