Cheap laptop

Hi,

 

I am looking for a new laptop for my parents but they don't want to spend much. The one they have is a 5 year old dell which was basic when they got it and I am now sick of rebuilding.

 

The only use it for a bit of Internet browsing and the ovation all word and excel documents.

 

Anyone got any suggestions of where to look?

Depends how cheap you mean as in second hand cheap or new cheap?

£229 for i3/ssd would be more than enough for what you asked for

I got an i5 with ssd for my OH from @ICTDirect_Dave - works fine - great speed - good price

 

stops her taking possession of mine all the time.
