I am trying to install SIMS on a client machine manually as it is refusing to install with Solus 3. When i try to install from Solus folder under SIMS extracted files (SIMSCenteralServerSetup.exe), I get an error message " insufficient disk space".

We have never had any problem like this on any PC with on our network. Any idea??sims installation problem.png

You meant to be trying to install the server? That's not the client app. That's the application one.

Does it do the same for that one?

Resolved.

I used a different login and it has resolved the issue.

We need to resolve the issue with Solus 3 which shows this error when installing through Solus3 UI

"cannot run PushPackageToAgent: Endpointnet.tcp://172.16.xx.xx:52966/ not found"

It seem to me a problem with firewall.... but which port is causing problem........

52966 at a guess!

You can confirm whether a client can communicate on that port by going to CMD and typing the following, substituting 172.16.xx.xx with the actual IP of your SIMS server:

telnet 172.16.xx.xx 52966

If successful, you'll get a blinking underscore on the first line of Command Prompt.
