Zoom7000 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I can't seem to get my head around sharing in Office 365. Is there any way that I can create a "Shared Area" in Office 365? I've tried creating a user called "Shared Area" and I've tried (with great difficulty!) to share all the files with all users, but when I log in as a new user, I can't see the files in "Shared with me". Is there any simple way I can achieve this?
DJ-1701 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Only done it on a small scale, but I created an Office 365 Group and invited members to said group.
snagrat Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Really should be creating Sharepoint site with a document store and then assign permissions on the site. 2
Zoom7000 Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 Really should be creating Sharepoint site with a document store and then assign permissions on the site. Do you have a link to a reliable document or video instructions that'll show me how to achieve this?
pantscat Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 It's pretty straightforward - go to "https://portal.office365.com" and go to SharePoint - from here you can add a new site, and then follow the wizard to share it and add document libraries. 1
