So, MS have announced end of life for Xbox Fitness.

Personally, I'm gutted. I haven't come across many others on here who use it (please add me on XBL if you do use it - gamertag same as username on here) but for me it was a deciding factor in buying the XB1 over the PS4.

The final death knell for Kinect? I can't think of any dedicated games other than Dance Central for XB1 Kinect.

Hopefully, they will reconsider as it's already top of Xbox Suggestions to keep it going.

Any thoughts?

I have used it but feel it needs more less intensive programs or some way of rating the programs by intensity. Most of the ones I have tried have been too much for me.

Would be nice for them to do a "from couch potato to runner bean" program :)

I remember there being a primitive rating system on it of 'Easy', 'Medium' and 'Hard' but it disappeared after a period of time. I was able to jump straight in after having done the Insanity sessions with the regular DVDs but I agree there should be a wider range of programs available with varying difficulty levels.

Some might argue that the modified exercises in sessions are sufficient but if the sessions themselves are too tough, particularly with the HIIT programs, it would be a big leap for someone returning to working out or starting out.

Does anybody know much about the Xbox feedback page? As mentioned above, there were a few thousand votes to keep Xbox fitness going but it now appears MS have deleted them all! I can't say I'm surprised they've done this with no response but it does seem heavy handed to just delete suggestions!
