Having issues connecting with this, I just get a "Connection test could not be completed" when testing the connection. I've tried http:// and imported i.e. proxy settings. I've also put the server in the exceptions list on Smoothwall, so I'm using the 801 port but still nothing. The logs are rubbish too unless there's some debug thing I don't know about

If you are using you smoothwall host name. Try it's ip address in mis sync.

 

PP have also being up to no good recently updating thing and breaking them so don't be surprised if that is the issue.

Tried IP too :/ , we're a brand new customer to PP ....

Morning. We are an existing customer with the same problem, and we set it to use IE settings and leave all the boxes blank and then go back to the login tab and make sure your username and password and school ID are correct there.

 

We only figured that out by chance by logging in even thought it said there was a connection problem

Working now, I also didn't read the instructions quite right, although in fairness they are a little confusing

 

Enter your Organisation ID as follows depending on where your school is

located:

o England: school-1-(your 7 digit DFE(DCSF) number)

I agree. I was going to post this exact response as I had an issue with PP last week when setting it up on a new computer. I forgot to put school-, and originally did 1-schoolID...

My recommendation.... Take a screenshot! The number of times I have had to enter this info in when my PC has a fit!

Seriously though, once uploaded via MIS sync, check it is there via the website, can't remember exactly but it's possibly Pupil, then Uploads.

Most files are processed instantly.
