Geoff Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I have SCCM 2012 R2 and I need to update it so that I can deploy the agent to Win10 PCs. Does anyone have any notes, or a guide they can point me to for doing this?
Fazza Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 This is the one I used: https://sccmentor.com/2015/12/27/sccm-1511-step-by-step-installation-guide/ Then the fix/patch here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/3143760
Sagima Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 This should help update to the current sccm but use the latest version (1602?) rather than the 1511 version. I think it;s the guide I followed - it's not that much more work than 2012 to r2 was https://kristopherjturner.com/2015/12/31/upgrading-configuration-manager-2012-r2-sp1-to-system-center-configuration-manager-and-endpoint-protection-current-branch-version-1511/
Fazza Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Once upgraded to 1511 you then install future updates through the SCCM admin console itself
sparkeh Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I think I used this to go from 2012 R2 to current branch v1511: In-place Upgrade to Configuration Manager 1511 and this to update to v1602: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/configmgr_geek_speak/2016/03/11/configuration-manager-1511-to-1602-upgrade-walkthrough/
