Digital Cameras and Filming Equipment

Hi Everyone

 

How do you decide how many Digital SLR Camera/ HD Video Camera's you provide to film studies, Art Photography Class's. Do you provide 1 between a 2 or 3 or 1 to 1 or just get 10 and let them figure it out ?

The departments provides their own out of their own budget here.

The departments provide their own here too. We have quite a few cameras but not one per student. I don't think every student needs to be using a camera at the same time here. They have a booking system with the teacher and while some students are out taking photos/using cameras, the others are editing in the class room. The teacher keeps track of who has booked out equipment and makes sure it is returned ready for the next student.

We find that some students prefer to buy and use their own cameras too.
