Flying Scotsman

Had the pleasure of the Flying Scotsman coming through town last night and this morning so thought I'd share a quick few videos I got as it was far to wet and overcast to get any good pictures.

 

Seen last night as it was brought down so they could turn it around to be facing the right was this morning for its journey from Cleethorpes to Morpeth.

 

 

Managed to get a good spot high up this morning (0730!!) that wasn't too busy.

I was expecting it be going a bit quicker than that seeing how much smoke it was chucking out

Where it had come from is all built up residential area plus there is a small station and level crossing so not the space to build up the speed but from where that was taken to the next stop it should have been able to build up a bit.
