Hi

I am just querying as to what software you can run with the Microsoft Schools Agreement. I have been told our agreement covers, operating system upgrades, Office and CAL - is this correct? Also, sharepoint designer, I have been told this has to go on ALL machines, I currently have 210 school agreements but cannot purchase say, 80 sharepoint licenses, correct?

Also, is there a way of only paying for CAL's and OS as I dont want to run Office anymore, so therefore do not want to pay for it.

Many thanks

You will have to consult your re-seller about this also i would ask them about office.

Yes, you can pay for each bit seperately. So rather than paying sof the desktop pack or whatever it is called, pay for Windows Client and CALS only.

Undfortunately paying only for the clients and the CALS is more expensive than paying for the desktop thingy. :(

It shouldn't be! We pay for the individual items, Windows Client, Windows CALS, and Office and we pay a little less than the desktop pack. (We don't use any other type of CAL such as Exchange).
