Brooke Weston operate a 5 term year (8 on, 2 off, and so on ... then 4 off for summer) during which techies are in full time (hours negotiate at interview) and they usually get 4 weeks a year, to be taken during the hols. It is a busy school (as most are) but the team are a good bunch and it can be the perfect place to hone your skills. I started there as a mouse cleaner and left .... well ... being able to clean keyboards too :-) Being serious though ... I wouldn't put it up if I didn't think it was a good oppurtunity. Just ask gecko, he is a former student and he didn't turn out too bad.
