Hi All,

I'm looking for some inspiration, I've got Papercut MF installed and running, however, I have one user who has access to 2 different printing groups:

Group 1 - B/W printing only

Group 2 - no restrictions

Papercut is recognising the stricter B/W printing restrictions which are being applied from group 1 and even when using the Group 2 account the user is unable to print in colour.

According to Papercut Support there is no way around this, does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

When we did this in the past, we had two print queues. One was colour, one was B&W. We then gave the B&W queue to students and the Colour queue to staff.

*Edit* Sorry, I've just re-read your post and think I'm misunderstanding it.

You set the restrictions on the printers & devices, if you go in there you can set which users can do colour at which device if that makes sense?
