We now have a few BBC Micro:bit's, but are already having some issues.

When trying to load the website the page does not move on from a white page.

I am thinking it is a permission that needs changing on Java per machine. Has anyone experienced this issue?

We did have this exact issue. I'm not saying it will solve your problem but I will explain our scenario and you can judge whether it matches your problem.

We run smoothwall which is county lea fed (cheshire). Our primary connection. We also have an additional bt infinity line which is sometimes load balanced but mainly for failover use only. We had reports of microbit displaying a blank page.

Investigation

We first ran a tracert to confirm which connection microbit was coming in on. It was routed through our Lea feed. To confirm a routed my request to microbit first through the bt infinity line. Microbit website worked

Then tried microbit on an test staff account which was priority fed through cheshire. Microbit showed the blank screen

Logged on as admin = blank screen

Logged on to a workstation as admin with proxy exception port 801 enable through cheshire and it triggered a ddos arrest 403 error page. Basically smoothwall doesn't know how to interpret this error as in the logs it also never showed anything other than 200 ok

Turned out microbit had blocked the ip address of the whole of cheshire.

Do a few tests sèe id you situation is similar to mine and If you are lea fed speak to them.
