Boredguy Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Can you login to the portal at all (https://login.microsoftonline.com) Is it accessible via a device not on your school internet (such as your mobile) Their support number is 0800 032 6417 1
crazycatlady1987 Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Oh that sucks, good luck. Is everything else working ok?
E_G_R2 Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 Wish I knew, we've had 'outages' in the last two days where outlook clients loose connection and people are unable to log into webmail. Today I was unable to log into the back end. Placed a call but now its back up again. Sure i'll get asked what happened and why, gonna have to think of some realy tech sounding b*ll*x for them
Homer Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Any filtering appliances that could have gone awry? Have you got Outlook set to cache at least a month, I had problems with Outlook while it was set to live... any blip in internet connectivity gave it the right hump 1
E_G_R2 Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 I'll have a look. One schoolboy error, not having a copy of my alternative credentials and having to guess the contact number and alternative email.
Boredguy Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Our Outlook clients also set to cache 1 Month to ensure that any hiccups it has is minimal (and we get a couple every now and then) however the webmail always works. Always handy to have another method of checking if the site is accessible even if it's via a mobile devices 3G. That would rule out any issues with your tenancy and point it more towards ISP/Filtering issues (which 9 times out of 10 it is)
E_G_R2 Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 We have users on mobile devices via their own data and they also had the same problem, looks like a blip in the tenancy. Coincidence? but I was tidying up our Yammer after a few kids got on before I removed the licence so had to delete them from our Yammer page.
