ID card printer recommendations please

We are looking for recommendations for an ID card printer that that can handle small volumes of printing. Doesn't need to be anything special just simple to use and even better if it has a small footprint.

Evolis Primacy is my recommendation. Don't buy one which you have to hand feed. Its a pain, even if you only have to swap a couple of cards in and out a time.

We've been using a couple of Magicard Rio Pro for a couple of years, excellent printer - not cheap but cheap does not always equal good

We use the Magicard Enduro, not had any issues with it and it's printed thousands of cards.

We're using an Evolis Pebble 3 with no issues

Using an Evolis Primacy here it's great has a card feeder can print 50 cards at a time and we've printed hundreds since we got it.

Hi All, our magicard Rio 2e is on it's last legs so trying to find a replacement that will link into our existing ID pro 7 software. Just looking around and they are really expensive, does anyone know a supplier that can get magicard printer at a decent price

We use DataCard SD260 printers here and they do see some serious use during Student enrolment. Seem pretty reliable. We have both USB and Ethernet types. Edited July 22, 2016 by Davit2005
