IT Director – Mansfield

Up to £40,000 dependent on experience

 

 

Our client, an academy status secondary school in Mansfield, are currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable IT Director. You will be responsible for the oversight and ownership of the schools IT and Networking systems - as well as the development, maintenance and documentation involved to ensure an effective service is provided which meets the demands of the school.

 

You will be required to provide line management, support and supervision to staff within the Network Services Team, provide support in the delivery of specialist business systems including MIS and E-Learning, as well as own and maintain the schools Disaster Recovery Plan.

 

Required Skills and Experience

· Minimum two years’ experience in leadership and management of staff and services

· An in depth knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Windows Client OS and Office

· Experience in management of Local Networks and enterprise server and storage systems

· Technical knowledge of server hardware software technology

· Qualified to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant IT related field

· Three years post qualification work experience

 

Desirable

· MCSE, HP certifications

· ITIL, Prince2 qualifications
