Clutter folder

Am I right in assuming this beast (the folder) can't be permanently deleted if I have disabled this feature for all users in Office 365?

 

It will only cause confusion if it still appears in the users outlook (we use both webmail and Outlook)

Just to make it clear I wan't to (if possible) mass remove the clutter folder from outlook, I have disabled the feature!!

I asked Microsoft the same question and they said you could not remove it, only disable it. How did you disable it for all users?

I ended up using this site https://www.cogmotive.com/blog/office-365-tips/enable-or-disable-clutter-for-office-365-user-mailboxes but did have to enable all firstly before then disabling it, seems to work but am sure the presence of the box will confuse our staff.

I am currently trying with the powershell script on that site but I can get all the way to the actual disabling and then it fails. I will try to enable everyone and then disable as you say

 

 

edit: I get a "positional parameter not found" error

Now I didn't get any errors but I found that untill I enabled it for everyone (some people had disabled it themselves) then it wouldn't disable accross the board.
