exactly im now high 50's low 60's they work great on level 15 stuff that didn't want to get captured earlier in the game when I was at a similar level

Apparently quick balls are 5x effective on the first turn.

ive been on an evolution spree got my level 6? arcanine and 5 crummy mons i want to evolve got a couple done so far and lots more 15-20 levels higher

And I'm up to 84 caught in the global event. That's pretty much 1 of every pokemon evolution line from the first 2 islands.

 

im up to 20 odd. I really must look up how some of these mon evolve as aparantly its not just levels igglybuff needs to be happy ive no idea what mini sudowoodo needs lol

 

i did find a 3rd legendary but as my team at the time was 1 level 60 mon and 5 crummy mons i diddnt get far. Also the hardest fight ive had so far was in a motel bedroom in post game lol

Old 3DSXL here (no colourful buttons ) and it works fine for me. There's a few places where the FPS has dropped but never for too long. The game holds up perfectly well, for the most part.

i thought that about my new 3ds then i looked at activity log and i have a game with over 100 hours logged (i have done it twice and it is a trilogy but still) followed by fire emblem awakening with over 60 iirc whoops lol

well evolved a few more last night and got an unexpected sylveon (an eeveeution i was unaware of ) and ive now seen a shiny unfortunately it was another trainers but on the plus side i got 3K and 5 nuggets for beating him

...and I forgot that I was S.O.S chaining for a rare Pokémon. Which means getting locked into a battle, gaining loads of exp and them not being able to evolve.

 

Luckily I found it fast and they only got to level 17.

 

The last time I had to do it, it took an hour.
