Change domain on SIMS server

Hi

 

I have built a brand new domain and wondered if its ok to change the SIMS server to point to the new domain without any issues or would capita have to come in an re-install to a new server?

 

Not sure how it would effect SIMS, FMS and SOLUS 3.

Should be fine.

as long as you dont change the server name it should be ok. Ive moved sims servers from one domain to another in the past without issue

I did this last year without any issues. I would just check that there aren't any scheduled tasks set to use the old domain account.

Just make sure you have a full back up/image of the server before just incase things go wrong.
