rsides Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Hi, Does anyone know how to make a pivot table count in Excel show names rather than numbers? I want it to create a matrix tracking students KS2-current data outside of SIMS. Thanks
bobsmith Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 like a transition matrice, so all the kids who came in at a level 3 and are currently getting a grade C would be in one box?
bigdannyb79 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 pivots are for summarising data so that is not possible. can double click the cells and get the student names in another sheet but is unwieldy for regular use. Powerview/PowerBI desktop might let you do something like this or link to a list so you can see the detail behind a pivots value. Its a might though as I have only dabbled.
