Hi,

Does anyone know how to make a pivot table count in Excel show names rather than numbers? I want it to create a matrix tracking students KS2-current data outside of SIMS.

Thanks

pivots are for summarising data so that is not possible. can double click the cells and get the student names in another sheet but is unwieldy for regular use.

Powerview/PowerBI desktop might let you do something like this or link to a list so you can see the detail behind a pivots value. Its a might though as I have only dabbled.
