Folder redirection by security group question.

Hi Guys,

 

We're running GPO redirected desktops, with different desktops for different people based on AD group membership.

This works fine normally, but now I have a user who's saying (we've never seen it) that some of her icons randomly disappear (since she started a new job with a new desktop folder).

 

Looking on AD, she's in two groups that have different redirected desktops. So, does anyone know how windows handles this?

All the redirects are applied through the same GPO.

According to this, folder redirection settings are ignored when the user is a member of more than one security group.

It is a Technet article though, so its usefulness is questionable!

If she needs both might be worth creating a new one?
