Senior ICT engineer - Oxfordshire - @£30K

We are currently recruiting for a senior ICT Field engineer for a growing education IT Support Company which provides a range of technical services to schools.

 

The company is well established and growing rapidly supplying day to day operational support, networking, broadband, MIS support (SIMS and Integris) and installation project work.

 

This position is a senior one, working with the area manager and providing 2nd and 3rd line support to junior engineers in schools, managing serious faults, incident management and leading on projects. This role is client facing and team playing and will include ensuring that schools are improving the standard of their ICT offering through highly available and robust ICT solutions.

It is essential you have experience with ICT technical issues at a high level and a strong knowledge of education networks.

 

This field based role is based in the Oxford region but with occasional travel in the south east, paying around £30K dependant on experience, also includes benefits such as mileage from home, pension and employee share scheme

 

Other experience may include; Microsoft windows server, SQL 2005/8, Exchange 2010, SAN/LAN/WAN/Wifi, Microsoft office 2007/2010/2012, SIMS , CC3 or CC4, VLE learning environment, community connect, whiteboard or smartboard, classroom, infrastructure and virtualisation.
