One of the Epson EB-440W's (Ultra Short Throw Projector) at the Primary has decided to die on us, out of warranty.

I was hoping to find another Epson EB-440W so I could just put it in the same pre-installed mounting framework. Has anyone got an idea where one couple purchase a replacement, or am I better off trying to get a company in to install a different projector and mount?

If you went with the newer EB-470 then the holes match up a little for the wall bracket so it can be a quick job to switch out

Thanks for the suggestion, though I seem to be having issues locating these too. Also it's designed for the 4:3 format where the other one was widescreen. Bah, projectors.

Thought I would ask Epson as I can't find a definate replacement for the EB-440W...

Agent Craig: Hi, Ok thank you, one moment please and I will look into this for you

‎Customer DJ: Thanks Craig :)

‎*Six minutes later*

System: The session has ended!

Have you looked at the EB450W ?

Yes, thanks, unfortunately as I found with the EB-440W it seems this is end of life. Talking with others it seems more and more like a repair (and hope that doesn't cost the earth and only last 5 minutes) or get a company in to replace with a different projector and boom arm job.

I have a couple of Epson EB-440W's here that I have replaced which you may be able to use for parts. Not sure where you are based so this may not be feasible. I replaced them with Casio XJ-UT310WN's which needed different mounts installing. Took me about an hour to remove the Epson and install the Casio.

Thanks very much for the kind offer, unfortunately I'm around 200 miles south. Knowing my luck I wouldn't be able to get one working anyway. :)

The EB-575 I think, has identical spec and the wall mount looks very similar.

Thanks, :) have asked about this one, although one company believes the mount is slightly different but has provided me a quote for it, and a quote for installation.
