Needs an iPad, badge printer and security stand, all of which can be purchased for approx £500 all in.

 

Then the software is free for 15 days, then just a shade under £300 per year afterwards.

 

Really nice and easy to use and set up.

Just doing the very same thing now, looking forward to the future update where you can use it for lesson marks. Our SLT are keen for this for Sixth Form study periods so they have an attendance register but without the staffing cost.

We use Sign In App in all of our trusts school- great value and works really well.

 

Support are also brilliant!

Bit of a necro bump from an account earlier, but one thing I've found with our sign-in system is to know that it might not update the lesson attendance, only the AM/PM requirement.

We ended up disabling the wonde write back on our instance of e-receptionbook (and don't think the others in our MAT ever asked for it to be enabled yet) otherwise it was messing up our attendance details royally.

 

Also if your SLT are like our and want to know how many minutes late a student was... check if the system has any way of recording that data. So far we're happy with it for visitors, but been a let down for students =/
