Calling from Outlook

Hello

 

Does anybody have calling from Outlook (2013) successfully working?

 

All of our contacts have a number but when we try and call there is a 'No Microsoft Telephony Services Installed' error message. Every contact has the phone symbol greyed out as well.

 

We use our phone system (NEC SV9100) extensively and it's all linked into desktop software (MyCalls Desktop) which provides phone control. We thought perhaps calling from Outlook might be linked to this somehow but it seems not.

 

We also don't see a 'Telephony' option in the MMC console snap-in, could this be linked to the CTI driver?

The telephony option was from if you had a modem in your PC. Normally when you have a 3rd party piece of software installed it puts an add in within Outlook for you to call using that.
