Duke5A Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 That is a Pandora's box right there. There are a couple of different methods that I have used from here with varying degrees of success. The problem is with every new version of Java stuff changes in the installer and an automated method of deployment can severely break existing installs. I had it happen to the point where Java wouldn't uninstall cleanly and the only way to get rid of it was to use that tool from MS that lets you drop entries from the Windows installer database. All I can really say is once you find a method that works be sure to test it three ways from Sunday and repeat the process every time a new version of JRE comes out.
