6Foot2 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Link: ASTER Web Image Gallery The data comes from a NASA satellite but the image capture device is from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) ASTER is the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer. There are about 3 million images collected over 17 years in the gallery.
