Apparently there is a good chance that whoever cut Frankie's spines off will also be suffering from ringworm now. Frankie is making a good recovery at Cawthorne Hedgehog Rescue and Care Centre in Barnsley. AMLinington Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 the world is going mad I am so sorry for any animal suffered from people: cats, tigers, elephants, snakes, puppies, hedgehogs... I know! Me too! I hate animal cruelty! It makes me sick! Tiny silver lining, though: As awful as this experience was for him, at least cutting the spines wasn't agonisingly painful or permanent. Once he's shed his spines and grown new ones, he'll be back to his old spiky self.
