neilmc Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Anyone else have similar problems that I do with shoes? I am a size 13 and can't find any decent shoes in my size. Bought a pair from sports direct in october/november they let water in, another from sports direct in december, they fell about durng march, bought another pair 2 weeks ago from amazon the sole inside has started to fall apart. Any one here have the same problems and can offer any ideas? Ta

I'm a size 15 and went through a similar struggle for a while, but now I find the biggest struggle is simply finding a style that I actually like - checkout Jacamo or WalkTall. You'll pay a bit more for a pair, but they'll usually last longer. Both their own-branded items are actually pretty decent too, if you're ever just after something cheapish pair for work or whatever. Id rather buy a pair that cost £50/£60 and last me a good while. Will be having a look on those websites, any other websites anyone can recommend?

Had some good deals on end of line stock on there. @Steve21 - They also have a decent size 16 selection. John Banks Big and Tall High and Mighty - Owned by the same people as Jacamo, tend to have a better selection of Smart Wear however. Find most of the "posher" style shoes aren't meant for much in our sizes! I do hope your inside leg is 36" ( inches ) not 36 ' (feet) Son is also 36" inside leg. He likes uniqlo jeans - he's young enough and slim enough to wear them low slung otherwise they'd be too short 1

rich_tech Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I struggle at 12 here, shops generally only have the most ugly/cheap shoes available at that price usually. Managed to buy a nice pair of sketcher shoes yesterday that had up to a size 15 in their shops (American sizes so a 14 I am guessing)
AMLinington Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 My Fiance wears Magnum army boots from the Army Surplus store (or Amazon). They go up quite high size-wise and they're good, solid boots. Under trousers they look pretty normal. Worth a look for work. Can't help you with casual though as he's only a 10. One of my cousins is a 15 though but he's in the Army so he mostly wears Magnum boots too lol.
