Hi Peeps :)

Is there anyway I can limit some devices internet speed? I have a Windows Server at home and an Asus DSL-N55U router so I wa shopping there would be someway?

My mum's, partners, children watch Netflix non-stop and use the internet heavily preventing anyone else doing anything on the internet as it takes forever to load our broadband is only about 600-700kbps! :(

If anyone could shed some light I'd be most appreciated! Thank you - Happy Easter! :D

you need something to do limiting like a microtik router, but it really is not easy at all.

Its pretty easy on the Draytek 2130 I've got - you just set the IP addresses and allow an Rx and Tx rate, you can limit total usage as well if you want

Some of the billion devices offer basic QoS too, along with mac address reservation for an IP, that should do it - I have a 7800DXL which has these features, but I have not had cause to use them.
