mikkydoos Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Hi all, Got a Windows 10 N ISO that I'm fixing up someones laptop with. I cant get the DVD to boot. ISO is from MS and has bootmgr on it. Any idea's? EDIT: BTW its a legacy BIOS not UFI HP Pavillion DV6 Cheers in advance Edited March 22, 2016 by mikkydoos
Arthur Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Have you verified the ISO isn't corrupt? Does the SHA-1 checksum match the one posted by MS? You could try writing the ISO to a USB flash drive using Rufus. 1
Oaktech Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Does it just not do anything, or does it give any error? 1
mikkydoos Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 So I've downloaded the .iso again using the Win10 download tool and its worked. Must be a bad image. Cheers guys. 1
