pinemarten Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 We are using Excel 2000 and sometimes web query (Data > get external data > New Web Query) does not locate the browser - (says you need a World wide web browser to be installed). No other probs at all with IE. W2k server ,WXP Pro workstations. Can't see a pattern to it - seems to work for some users on some workstations, not for others. Any ideas?

pinemarten Posted January 20, 2006 Author Posted January 20, 2006 XP is SP1 , Office is original 2000 build. Internet access filtered by netpilot thru LEA /Affiniti(formerly Kingston Inbusiness).
