Field Based Technology Support Specialist – South London

Up to £29,000 depending on experience

 

 

Our client, a company based in South London, are looking for a Technology Support Specialist to join their team. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will be required to travel within Greater London and the Home Counties providing technical support to schools IT systems.

 

Your role will be to provide support to schools, remotely and on site, as well as being involved in implementation of large and small scale projects. This includes project management, project installation, training and consultancy, and quality control.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

· 2^nd and 3^rd line helpdesk experience, and a good understanding of asset management.

· Knowledge of backup technologies, antivirus systems and network infrastructure.

· Minimum 3 years supporting and administering a Microsoft Windows Server/Client network.

· Experience working with RM CC3/4 or similar, Prince2 and Apple OSX and iOS.

· Excellent knowledge or backup technologies, antivirus systems, networking infrastructure and Microsoft TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

· A Full UK Driving License
