Remote app from network share

May be of some use to you if you have apps on network shares like we do..

 

First Shortcut to full unc path must be added to c:\users\public\public desktop of a remote app session server e.g \\domain\share$\test\test.exe

 

Open Powershell as admin

 

New-RDRemoteApp -CollectionName "RA Servers" -DisplayName "Displaynameofapp" -FilePath "uncpath"

 

If you have more than one remote app server maybe use DFS to replicate the shortcut.
