Office, Office 365 and Google Cloud

Hi All

 

Our school is thinking about moving to Google Cloud however from a data perspective I am curious about a few things.

 

I wanted to ask schools who are using google cloud do you still have microsoft office avaliable for staff and students to use or are you no longer using office at all?

 

If schools want to use microsoft office and use google cloud do you have to still pay for office 365 or can school purchase a standalone office?

 

At the moment I use excel and in particular use marcos to extract data from SIMS which I will no longer be able to use if the school decides to use google and no longer have office. I also understand that things like google sheets have limited functionality.
