[sims] Funding Reports

I did post this on support net but figured I may get a quicker response here. Are there any built in reports in SIMS that relate to funding on a per pupil basis.

It was the Finance person who asked me....

 

When I was a MIS manager in FE I could run reports showing the funding generated by Pupil, year group, Key stage etc.

 

It wasn't anything I was aware of, she never said what MIS she used.

when she was in FE she probably didn't call them pupils, teach year groups or have Key Stages

 

Funding in secondary is generated in arrears and is on a per capita basis, the data is taken FROM the census.

 

The Finance person needs just a list of students on roll broken down by year group to work out KS4 and KS3 funding.

 

KS5 funding is far more fun and last time I had a play with it I got some way to having a reasonable approximation, but the documentation for the convoluted formulae ran to 190 pages!

Apparently She used something Called AQUA apparently by Capita with Crystal Reporting. I cannot find anything on this from a quick google search. I have already provided her with the pupil break downs so she can work it out. Thanks for getting back to me.
